Pettina Jay
Complementary Therpaist

Pettina Jay

Pettina has been in the field of healing, yoga and meditation for the past 30 years, taking her passion to a professional level in 2006 by qualifying as a mental health nurse, reiki master/teacher, as well as a Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher and in 2009 she became a qualified reflexologist.

Pettina has always had a passion empowering women, physically and mentally to work with their bodies to find health and healing.  Something she had to face herself when she was told that she was infertile, after illness in 2009. However, she used her knowledge and spent 16 weeks incorporating the energy and healing modalities used with her clients, and was greeted by a light within, her beautiful daughter who is now 12. During her pregnancy she studied in Brussels and qualified as a baby, toddler and children’s yoga teacher.  Over time she witnessed the power of this through the development of her own daughter and the work she did in the community, practicing alongside a psychologist at Sure Start and teaching in primary schools.

In 2011 Pettina felt she needed to expand her modalities further and studied for a level 3 Diploma in Complimentary Therapies, qualifying in Indian head massage, aromatherapy massage and Swedish massage.

Over the past 2 years she has been drawn to expand further becoming certified in Yin yoga, sound therapy and Bach Flower remedies, all of which are beautiful additions to the modalities she uses.

This year has opened new paths and studies, and Pettina has recently completed her advanced qualification in reproductive reflexology. This includes treating men as well as women, and includes the knowledge to support all reproductive issues such as endometriosis and PMS. To compliment this she also offers pregnancy massage and hot stone therapy.

Pettina is holistic in nature and loves to treat the whole (mind, body and spirit) and individualises treatments to the unique needs of her clients.

Pettina is very active in the local community, co-creating workshops and teaching with various practitioners in the such as shamans, yoga teachers and reiki masters working on beautiful  projects to serve and bring communities together.

Along side her work in mental and physical health of families, Pettina also works with animals, and qualified in 2021 as an animal energy practitioner.
