Gayle Jordan

Gayle is the founder and clinical director of Align Osteopathy and has been a complementary and manual therapist for over 22 years.  She gained her Masters from the London School of Osteopathy, where she took a particular interest in community health, treating newborn babies,  elderly patients and everything in between. Her true passion is in women's health where she has undergone further postgraduate training to allow her to gain a better understanding of women's health needs in the key stages of their reproductive lives.  She is currently attending the world renowned Molinari Institute of Health, undertaking a post graduate diploma in Women's Health Osteopathy.  Gayle is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

 

Gayle is also very experienced in the treatment of sports injuries for both adults and children, with professional and GB level athletes and sports people among those on her patient list.  This experience was gained both in the clinical environment and in situ at events where she provided pitch side injury assessment and treatment at various events, including the Brighton Marathon, cross training competitions, various charity events and with local rugby and football teams.

Gayle has a certificate in education and been an educator of manual and complementary therapists for over 20 years in both the public and private sector.  She has extensive experience as a teacher, assessor and in internal quality assurance.  She has also made guest appearances on local BBC radio, demonstrated treatments for TV and at therapy exhibitions, as well as written specialist articles for local magazines.

Gayle has a special interest in the treatment of babies, children and young people and has undertaken further post graduate training in this subject, including a level 2 certificate in children and young peoples mental health.

April is a level 5 qualified sports massage therapist and has been a soft tissue therapist for over 20 years.   She  also holds many additional qualifications in complementary therapies, fitness instructing, nutrition coaching, teaching and much more .  

April is a qualified nutrition coach with a special interest in gut health, as well as vegetarian and vegan food. She currently studying towards a bachelors degree in nutritional therapy.

In her spare time April is passionate about fitness and can sometimes be seen leaving her house at 4.30 in the morning to get her fitness fix (so keep an eye out for her in the gym!).

April treats patients of all ages and walks of life, from high level sports people to manual workers and the elderly.

Adam Duncan

Adam is a level 3 qualified sports massage therapist and qualified personal trainer currently studying working towards completion of level 4 injury treatment.

Adam started his career working in the health and fitness industry after completing his Diploma in Sports and exercise sciences along with his Fitness instructors and personal trainer qualifications. He spent a number of years working as a personal trainer focusing on all aspects of fitness including muscle building, weight loss and sport specific preparation.

Adam has represented England school boys at football and played a high level of rugby. In more recent years Adam became a keen bodybuilder and now actively works out doing weights for muscle building and cardio for fat loss often doing exercise twice a day!  Adam has works with clients of all ages and from all types of backgrounds including office workers, drivers, hairdressers and professional athletes. Please don’t worry about Adam size, he can be gentle when needed!
